A Really Lazy Day
Dec 6, 2010
|We slept with only one window open last night. The one beside my pillow was left open but there was no wind at all, so it was simply refreshing, not cold.
After sipping our morning coffee, accompanied by soft music and the ambiance of the fireplace, we straightened things in the RV, and relaxed with the computers and the TV.
The cable TV service had a temporary problem and went off the air, so we put a movie in and watched “Salt”. That was a good movie and we enjoyed the action and suspense, which kept us on the edge of our seats.
I must confess that we did close the one open window and then turned the furnace on, to take the chill off.
For lunch, we ate turkey, with mashed potatoes, gravy, and green beans with olive oil and sea salt.
After lunch I called Alternative Resources in Sioux Falls, and gave them our new address, so they could send our mail.
For the remainder of the afternoon we just relaxed and enjoyed a really lazy type of day.
One of those days when you have nothing on the agenda and can do whatever you wish, is a nice thing to have once in a while.
Back in our other life this type of day was rare indeed.
Marilyn read her book while I watched the Military channel and played games on the computer.
Not much happened today and we enjoyed every minute of it.
Life is Good!
