Taylor-Soncrant 2010 Trip travel blog

After the fireworks last night, we went to bed. It rained (and maybe hailed) a good part of the night. Since it was raining when we woke up, we slept in for awhile.

We headed out for Glacier National Park. Our goal was to get from the East end to the West end. We had been told that as of two weeks ago, the road was impassible.

With mountains on one side, a cliff on the other and work crews in-between it made for an exciting trip to say nothing of driving in and out of heaven all day with the clouds being at our heads.

It rained, sleeted and the sun and rain came together, plus we did have some time of just sun. It was a little chilly at times due to the 6,646 ft elevation.

The trip was fantastic. The scenery was the best. We took lots of pictures and had a great time.
