Sunset Over Lake Livingston

Sunset Over Lake Livingston

This morning I left right at 9:00. Earlier, there had been dense fog but, by the time I left, most of it was gone. There were just a few very light patches. It was cloudy nearly all the way and I drove through heavy rain showers at College Station and Huntsville.

My first stop was at Caldwell. I happened to see windshield washer fluid, which has been on my shopping list for a long time, so I bought a gallon. Next, I stopped in Anderson to feed Sweet Pea and accidentally selected premium grade. Grrr!! Regular fuel prices are high enough already. I ate lunch next door at the Wooden Spoke.

I arrived at Lullene’s house around 1:30. We hung out at home and caught up on each other’s news. It was almost sunset when she called my attention to a rainbow. I raced downstairs to get my camera and she was right behind me. It was such a treat.
