It was raining when we returned to Florence last evening and we awoke to heavy rain. It did stop after breakfast so we ventured out to visit the Mercato Centrale where the locals buy their meat and vegetables fresh every day.

Seeing all that food made us hungry so we walked back to the hotel to deposit our purchases before venturing out to find a lunch place. The rain returned while we were inside a cozy cafe. We took a cab back to the hotel to begin packing for tomorrow's departure. Fortunately, the rain stopped so we could walk to our last dinner place.
