We left Solon Springs, WI around 10 in the morning with hopeful intentions of getting a few good miles under our belts. We made it to Baldwin, WI before we had to stop because the power steering stopped working, AGAIN! We had just had the new pump installed in Superior, WI the week before after waiting 6 weeks for the part to come in. We called our mechanic in Superior and Spartan Chassis to see if anyone had any ideas as to what we should do. After 2 hours of discussions, it was decided that we should give it a try again because maybe it was just an air bubble in the lines. We do not know how you burp a 40 foot motorhome but driving it down bumpy Hwy 63 must have done the trick. We were back on the road again with a fully functioning power steering. We made it as far as the Walmart in Rochester, MN and decided that was a good place to stop for cocktails and a good night's rest. We were on the road again by 6 the next morning. Life on the road is full of adventures.
