Florida State Line

Zeta's VERY excited about going home

One more mile to HOME

Hey...what's with the "Caution" Tape??

Those nasty Yellowjackets!!

We almost filled up our map this trip

We are finally home in Florida....arrived here Monday morning after six months and 20,000 miles on the road!! What a fantastic time we've had, but have to admit that our little place in Salt Springs did look good to us....well, except for all the "Caution" tape that had been strung from one end to the other. Seems our neighbors thought the place was abandoned since noone had been there for so long. Oh, yeah, and did I mention the blow-up doll we found in our dining room with the message "Welcome Home Big Boy!" Such funny people, our neighbors. LOL (hope they remember about "paybacks!!!!")

Well, actually the "Caution" tape was necessary as when we got here we discovered a HUGE yellowjacket nest in one of our kayaks that we stored under our RV. Buzzing everywhere and were they mad when Rich pulled the kayak out into the open!!! They came after us with a vengence and we all (Zeta included) went flying for the door to the RV but not before we all got hit with the little devils. It wasn't until the next day that Rich was finally able to get rid of them.

Now we're in the process of cleaning up the travel vehicles, organizing the home front and getting back to our winter "normal." Thanks for traveling along with us and hope you enjoyed the ride! Next summer we hope to be in New England and we'll keep you posted of our plans!

Hugs to everyone.....and Happy Trails to all....Rich, Carole, and Zeta
