| Our children almost ended up parent-less!! We tried taking Hwy 20 from Truckee, California to the west coast but messed up a bit and decided to just find our way again by taking Hwy 126 to Westport on the coast. It turned out to be one of the most treacherous drives of our lives, especially pulling a 30 foot RV behind us! Besides that, the drive down into Grass Valley brought a sense of nostalgia for each of us. Being that we both grew up in California we didn't realize the impact of smelling eucalyptus trees again and viewing rolling hills with oak trees would have on us! |
