| It's really hard to believe that our journey is now almost at an end. We've had a great trip down from Pennsylvania, wandering through West Virginia, Kentucky, and Tennessee. We stayed in Crossville, TN for almost a week as Robert and Celeste caught up with us again and we went and visited his sister on her beautiful ranch. Georgeous place she has with her two horses and 12 acres of woods. We also were able to visit with friends we hadn't seen in many years, Jan & Frank Holdren that we knew in GITMO, so that was huge fun too. They told us about a drive in the Smokey Mountains that we went on yesterday...Cade's Cove...and it was awesome. Scenery was a 10+ and we saw so many deer, old cabins, etc. The Smokey Mountains were so beautiful with fall colors...the camera couldn't come close to capturing the colors. Now we are in Georgia, enjoying the cool temps and a nice campground in the woods...taking a break from driving for a day or so. We plan on being back to Salt Springs either this Monday or Tuesday and back to some kind of "normal" routine. I have to tell you that it's going to be an adjustment...not having to move every few days or so, not seeing new places everyday. It's been a trip of a lifetime and so much fun....we are truly blessed. Thanks for supporting us while we've been gone....Love you all!!! See you back in Florida:-) Carole, Rich, and Zeta |
