Neither one of us slept well last night, much to our chagrin. This morning we remembered that we each drank a bunch of caffeine at dinner last night. Consequently Doug was really wiped out all day today.

Late morning we drove down to Tallulah Gorge where we planned to dodder around the rim of this beautiful place. Doug didn't even dodder on this trip. He shuffled and finally went back to the visitor's center to wait for the others to complete their hike.

They had a great time and didn't get back to the center until 3ish. On the way home we stopped by an orchard retail store and bought some fresh apples and some marvelous bread. We bought a loaf of sweet potato bread and Suzy bought a loaf of pecan cinnamon. David bought some items as well.

This evening the group went to campground bon fire with other campers. Doug and Fillmore stayed home. They had a good time and met a family from Chipley Fl which is very close to where they live. JoAnn & Suzy got to practice some line dancing.

Later still we had a crock pot stew that JoAnn had been cooking all day and helped it along with our sweet potato bread.

Pictures today are from JoAnn's hike around Tallulah Gorge.
