We have been busy seeing the area and family that lives here. On Friday we took our nephew, Michael Ratliff, who is a freshman at UT, Knoxville out for lunch then dinner. It was fun spending time with him and hearing about how his life is going.

Saturday we stayed in Townsend doing some more exploring and grocery shopping by bicycle. Love that we can do that via their bike trail here and not have to fight traffic on the highway.

Sunday we met Rick’s Mom and Stepdad at a restaurant in Townsend for brunch then after talking for a while at the RV we went back to their house for the night. When we got back to the RV on Monday morning we were surprised to find that our receptacles in the RV had no power. After several hours of trouble shooting and phone calls to manufacturers and suppliers, Rick determined that the RV needs a new inverter. So, Monday afternoon we visited the Knoxville Camping World to get a new inverter and on Tuesday, while Tina had lunch with her sister in Sevierville, he installed it. It works great! Tuesday night we met Rick’s Mom and Stepdad and a couple of their friends for dinner in Maryville.

Today we took the bicycles to Maryville and rode the greenways there for about 4 hours exploring parks along the trail - had no idea there were so many trails in Alcoa and Maryville! We were too tired to cook dinner so called Rick’s Mom and she and his Stepdad met us in Maryville at a Mexican restaurant.
