Aside from the fact that I got to see Angela for practically two full weeks, the trip was amazing. We had a wonderful time seeing how people in other parts of the world live, eating all the different foods. The people were very friendly. It was quite a thrill seeing the animals running free in their environment. I loved the french fries there (the chips) they were soooooooooo good. Shopping was one of my favorite things, dealing with all the different merchants at the zebra stalls, the masai village, etc. It was quite an experience. We had trouble believing that we were actually in AFRICA. Bob had one heck of time getting used to driving on the "wrong" side of the road. By the third day he was pretty good at it. Staying on the road and missing all the potholes was second nature to him then. It's pretty weird when people stop to pee on the side of the road as they're walking (or sometimes driving. They just pull over and take care of their business. Very funny!)
The trip was something Bob and I will never forget. We are so lucky we were able to go.
