Some you might find the following details of my shower on Saturday humorous, a clean story, it has taken a couple of days for me to get over the incident. When I checked into the RV Park in Dillon, MT, the lady informed me that the water at the trailer site was already turned off expecting winter to arrive any day. She mentioned that their showers had plenty of water and it was hot. I decided to walk over to the showers after it got dark, that way I could shower and put on my PJ. I locked the trailer, remembering to take the key and head lamp with me to the showers. When I returned, the key would not open the trailer, an intermittent problem that has occurred since I got the trailer. I almost panicked when I broke the key trying to get the lock open, could have been anger, luckily it was dark and no one could see me in my PJ.. The problem is normally solved by using the other set of trailer keys or graphite powder which were in the truck. However my truck keys were locked in the trailer, no problem I could call On Star to open the truck, wait my cell phone was also locked in the trailer. I went to the trailer next door to borrow a cell phone, forgetting I was dressed for bed, the lady who answered the door almost shut the door in my face, but I explained my problem, asking to use her cell phone. She gave me the cell phone, asked me in out of the cold, but I refused telling her that I needed to be next to the truck when I called. She seemed worried when I left with the cell phone, but I guess she realized that bandits did not wear PJ. All I needed was the On Star phone number, on the card in my billfold; you guessed it, in the trailer. Sprint 411 was able to connect me to On Star, the second time this trip. The operator answered “What do you need now?” She asked what phone number was I calling from, laughed when I explained that I did not know since I was on a borrowed phone. After opening the truck, I got the other key, returned the phone, but the key I had just retrieved would not work. I decided to call On Star back and request they send a locksmith; I have roadside assistance with them. I discovered that the truck needs to be running to use the On Star button, yep the truck key still in the trailer. I finally got the key to work, using the graphite power from the unlocked truck and some delicate muscle. I also decided to renew my On Star contract for another year. Molly was inside trailer laughing as I am sure you are, Charlotte please put me in a home in TX when you commit me?
