|Headed toward South Dakota on I-29 north. Lots of road const. Near Whiting we were flagged down by a construction worker who said our back tires on the Jeep we were towing behind us were wobbling. Went in to Whiting but no mechanic there so we went on to Sioux City and parked in a Home Depot. Called a Jeep dealership and Tim couldn't get in until 9am the next morning so we stayed the night at Home depot lot. Also having trouble with the new batteries holding a charge so Tim checked it out and one of the post connectors had become so hot it had melted and was half gone. Tim went and got a new connector and the batteries are charging fine now. Tim went to the Jeep dealership Thursday morning and they checked the jeep completely over and found nothing wrong. Don't know what that guy saw but the rear axle and tires on the jeep are just fine. We had to laugh, It was our 4th day out and we were still in Iowa only about 4 hours from home but we are on no time schedule. We now have the assurance that everything id running smoothly on our house on wheels.
