Today we headed along the shores of Lake Ontario to Niagara on the Lake. Just along from the campground we found a great viewpoint of the lake and had a quick stroll. We then made our way to Port Dalhousie. The wind was extremely strong but we enjoyed a quick walk along the harbour to the lake. Port Dalhousie a popular summer vacation area was virtually closed but we did find the good old faithful-Tim Horton’s for a hot drink!

We the continued along the lake to Niagara-on-the-Lake and enjoyed a stroll around the shops in the sunshine and the now gentler wind. The town famous for the Shaw Festival is a lovely town to stroll around with many beautiful floral displays and some unusual shops.
