| Fast train to Rome, train to Rome airport, plane to Athens Greece and a smaller plane to santorini! Up at nine, arrive in santorini at 10 pm.. Long travel day.. Terri did great with the flights, even the small one...and no adavan! She s a pro flyer now! With no accommodations reserved or booked this should be interesting, getting on the island with no where to go.... Terri was on her game.. Got to the santorini airport and scored us a place to stay for 60 euros that night.. Cheap considering a hostel would cost us each 25-30 euros anyways.. Ah a bed.. Woke up late the next day, since we sat in a pub for a couple hours..owned by English couple.. They ve been here for three years...sounds like they ve got a good life made...hmmmm.... Today's fun was to find a place to stay at kamari beach off the ocean.. Not that our first place was bad but if we re going to be here off season, it s time to barter for a sea view room ... And terri accomplished just that.. 55 euros a night with sea view..can t wait to google this place to find out how much people actually pay in July/august to stay here... Seems pretty high end! We re loving the fact that we are here off season..,Check out our view from our balcony.... R and R! Our plan for the next 7 days is rest, relaxation and island hopping! Might not hear from us very much.. We ll be busy lying on the beach! |
