| Departed Champion, PA and continued our trip to Williamsport. We passed by the Flight 93 Memorial, although did not stop this year. Weather was beautiful today, with blue sky and large white puffy clouds. Many of the trees have started their fall change, and the colors are beautiful. Tonight we are camping at the Riverside Campgrounds on the West Branch of the Susquehanna River. Scott and I (as well as Curious George) went down to the river and Scott stuck his feet in the water. As we did in our trip last year, we will be visiting many cemeteries throughout our trip getting pictures of loved ones final resting place. This evening, we visited Green Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Montgomery, PA where one of Scott’s Uncles is buried. We found the marker just as the sun was setting, so we will go back tomorrow, prior to visiting with his Aunt Bea, and get a couple good pictures. |
