| Went to the pompei ruins today. All I can say is amazing and beautiful. To see all the preserved houses and streets etc. Was awesome. We didn't get to see the dog and prego women who were perseved but we saw a family of 13 that had all been perceived by the ash. We also saw a lot of bones and skulls etc. It was very cool but sad at the same time. The women and dog were supposedly at a museum for the off season? Hmm didn't know they did that. Oh well ... The world won't end. Haha After the ruins we took a train to sorrento!!! Just had a nice dinner there. While we were at dinner this "stray dog" came upto us so we pet him. We were all done with food and payed already so than we got up to leave and he was following us. Before we left I liked the name charley so that was his name. Haha anyways so for 2 or so hours he followed and siphora decided she was gonna take him home so we looked up transport home Etc. Than we decided it was to much and that but bye than we bought him a awesome collar hahah than we tried losing him so he wouldn't follow us to the train station. We go to the train station and he comes finds us and lays down right next to where we are sitting!! Ugh why am I such a sucker for animals!!! Than this whole comostion cause we some how got through the gates to the train and we see him a couple cars over. It didn't leave for another 5 min. So I run over call his so called name and he comes running over like omg I found you yayyy sooooo sad!! :( anyways than he gets back on and my friend gets him off and I didn't see her get back on and there was a group of boys (from a soccer team) the bell goes off and thanks to this kid I wasn't left behind hahha cause he just grabed me on to the train cause he knew i was with the girls. That wAs a fun train ride the boys were very funny. They were 16 they said and very enteetaining all of us having pull up competitions hahaha yea i know! Than we got off the train at the stop and went to get on a connecting one only to find that trains and buses don't run after 10pm. Lammeeee. So now we found two cops who were trying to help us...I started praying cause I wanted to get home abs will ya know that as soon as I prayed a off duty bus stoped and we asked if he was going to the town we needed and he said he would bring us for FREE! How ridiculous! Coincidence I think not! It was just amazing how that worked cause it was a really shady place where we were to! Anyways Jehovah is amazing! In that he can help when in need! :-) Anyways that was my eventful day. Would LCD to know what going on back home! Miss everyone! Love Lauren ! |
