Today we left Idaho Falls after enjoying Yellowstone. Need to come back when I can walk and go places. Down past Blackfoot, Chubbuck, Pocatello, and Malad in Idaho, and Riverside, Garland, Tremonton, Honeyville, Bear River City, and Brigham City in Utah. As we approached and passed Ogden, it seemed llike the city never ended as we went south on I-15. Odgen, Layton, North Salt Lake, Salt Lake, South Salt Lake and Sandy City, among others, seemed like one big city. The only differentiation was the city signs. Draper was on the south side of Salt Lake past Sandy City. Up around Blackfoot, we passed an area called the Hell's Half Acres Lava Flow which is shown by the black rock along the side of the road. Although the mountains are not as tree covered as Canada or Alaska, there is a distinct beauty to them. We passed a lot of farm country with most laying in bales of hay for their livestock over the winter. Between Ogden and Layton we passed Hill Air Force Base. I put a question mark on the Utah Capital Building because we were not sure if it was the Capital. We stayed at the Mountain Shadows RV Park on Minuteman Drive in Draper. Very close quarters for RV's, so we don't think we will look to stay there again. Eddi was not pleased that we had to unhook the car for a one night stay. Tomorrow on to Cedar Creek, UT and possibly Bryce Canyon.
