Hi Guys!!A bunch of henros everywhere!! In the big city of Matsuyama from a 2 1/2 train ride. Gees, if I walked that it would be 3 days!! In the rain!! Hm..I like to rough it but the other women from Austria, Holland, etc..in fact, all but us USA girls are camping out and walking more than me. I consider 8-10 miles of walking each day enough so after that I train or bus it!! I do like the warm shower and bed each night!! Marcille asked about the white jacket. That signifies us as henro, temple walkers/seers. People recognize us and give us things everyday. Food, little gifts, rides to the next temple, etc.. because they recognize the jackets!! Only on this island of Shikoku though!! Til a few days!! ;D
