Another great day of traveling through Massachusetts and Rhode Island and another great Elks lodge to stay at in Taunton, MA. Joining the Elks lodge was one great decision for this trip and for all the good projects they have back in Texas. We got parked and planned our day trip to Plymouth, where the pilgrims landed. What a great day we had in Plymouth- we saw the original Plymouth Rock and the USS Constellation (re-made). The harbor was so pretty and shopping was great then we went to the pier and had a fantastic lobster lunch. Naomi had shrimp and tasted our lobster but she really thought she was cool because Tuesday is kids day and all the kids meals are just $2.99 so she really had a great meal cheap.. Then we went to the fish market at the end of the pier and bought some fresh lobster and shrimp to take home. On our way back we stopped at a really neat wayside park along the Cape Cod Canal and watched the ships and boats come through and Dave & Naomi went down along the canal. It was another fun day. We are having so much fun and seeing and learning so much I think we will all be sorry to see this trip end but we are almost to our north end then we will head west along the great lakes. Still lots more to see and do so follow along.
