Mayflower II

Plymouth Rock

After a kicked back morning we headed off to Plymouth, Mass., about a 15 mile drive from the campsite. First stop was Dunkin' Donuts for a coffee and then we headed down to the waterfront to find a parking spot. We walked one side of main street checking out souvenier shops, but by now they all pretty much look the same. We didn't bother going on the Mayflower II but managed to get some good photographs from shore. A short distance away we checked out Plymouth Rock, and then headed back down the other side of the street to the truck. A stop on the way home for some groceries and a shoe warehouse, where surprise of all surprises, I found a pair of shoes and Marilyn didn't! Back at the trailer we spent the afternoon figuring out our route over to the Newburg/North New York KOA for tomorrow and pretty much relaxing.
