We made it!

We climbed up a bit further, breathtaking...litterally!

Wow! You can see the Autumn colors.

This morning we got up to a very cool 40 degrees, but the sky is so blue and the mountains so beautiful, the crisp air feels good! We turned the generator on just long enough to make coffee and put it in the thermos decanter, then we took a walk down to the lake. It is so pretty, clean and cold!

We went into town after breakfast to find the part for the water inlet so Rick could fix it, and we can fill the fresh water tank back up with water. This all took a little bit of our day, since we had to close all the slides and drive up the road to fill with water. Oh well, all in a good day! We had lunch in town(Frisco)at the Summit Eatery, we each had a different open face sandwich on flat bread, mine was with chicken and corn and bean salsa, Rick had thin sliced beef with mushrooms, peppers, onions and cheese; we shared and they were both yummy. Picked up a USA Today so we could see whats going on in the world.

In the afternoon, we took a drive up to Keystone and the Loveland Pass, to the Continental Divide. We really got some good pictures! Being up 11,995 feet is crazy, the drive up was wicked...Sara and Judi will appreciate this...there were many bikers riding up this road, unbelievable! Just tell me why??? LOL While at the top, we walked up to the viewing place and it was scary, and we were out of breath, funny thing is while we were walking back down, we both got a cramp in our left leg.

At home we relaxed outside, for a while, the days are nice and warm, but the evenings and mornings are quite cool, so it is time for a sweat shirt again! I made baked chicken, mashed potatoes and corn for dinner. No TV, which we don't miss, so we read our books, we have plenty of them to read.
