| With an early start today we drove 470 miles to Smyrna, Tennessee. This is an all time record distance for us in one day and we will not soon repeat such a marathon drive. All of the drive was on Freeways except for a short detour we took in Little Rock, Arkansas to escape a back up on I-40. After returning to I-40, we continued all but the last 20 miles on I-40 before hitting I-24 in Nashville, TN. We have a short 215 trip tomorrow to Dahlonega which will end this years major trip, |
