We found a lovely church

With lovely people who helped us record our existence

We agreed to pay for expedited shipping but by Wednesday the best they could do was get the turbo, out of Denver, in on Friday afternoon. Service doesn't work on Saturday or Sunday, so Monday would be the earliest they could install. We had dry camped for two days and needed to replenish the water and dump.

After consultation it was decided that it would be safe to move to an RV park close by. Glen Beck was having his DC rally and everything close to the water was booked. We were lucky to find space at the Cedar Creek Family Campground. The north east has introduced us to the "family campground". There are a few in the west, but not quite like the ones here. When they add "resort" the amenities get even more grand.

We were apprehensive of this campground because the reviews were not good. I take exception to the reviews. The owners have taken such pains to naturalize this campground into the existing forest. If you view from the aerial angle, all you see is a canopy of trees. The parking sites and roads have been carefully inserted into the forest so that very few trees were removed. Two swimming pools, several play grounds, store, game room, laundry and a snack bar were just a few of the goodies. This place would be very attractive if you are traveling with children. For us, it was such a welcome relief after spending so may days on asphalt.
