John and Janet 2010 Midwest Trip travel blog

We are on the road early and headed for home. We debate what route to take. We decide on the shortest even though it involves staying on the interstates.

We near Baltimore and are in rush hour traffic. We head for the nearest exit and pull off for breakfast. The traffic is not so bad when we start on our way again.

Past Baltimore we head north on I95. We see traffic backed up for miles in the opposite direction due to an accident. This is too stressful for me. The only reason to get on an interstate is to get from point A to point B quickly. This is not normal for us. We both are relieved when we cross the Delaware Memorial Bridge leaving the interstate behind.

We are home by noon. It has been a great trip but it is time to regroup. It is time to pay some bills and take care of things in New Jersey.

When will we be on the road again? As soon as possible. During the last hour on the road, we talked about what we need to take on our next trip and what we can leave home. My mind is already spinning with possible routes.

We love living on the road and hope those of you who have followed along have enjoyed the trip as much as we have!
