Colorful flowers
We had a very exciting day today. We visited Niagara Falls, Ontario. We wanted to see Niagara Falls from the Canadian side, you can see so much more than from the American side.
It was so crowded we could not even find a place to park near the Falls. We had to pay $10 for parking and take a shuttle. It did take us right up to the paved walkway, letting us out right in front of the Falls. The walkway is landscaped with some of the most colorful flowers, it was a beautiful walk.
We were thinking of taking a boat ride on the Maid of the Mist. It takes you right up to the Falls, but the weather was way too rainy. We have had three days of rain and clouds and cool weather in the 50's. Today was a bit better, but still cloudy. I did take some pictures of the brave souls that did take the boat tours. :-) Please excuse the cloudy pictures.
The town of Niagara Falls is a great place to visit for entertainment. It is loaded with amusement parks with rides and much more. One of the most famous places in the area is the Skylon Tower. It is a revolving restaurant that offers a birds eye view of the falls. We had a great day and hope you enjoy the pictures.
