| Got up this morning and there is snow on the hills on the horizon. We are at 4500" and freezing level is 7000" too close for me as we head for the coast. Ken turned on the furnace to get these old folks blood flowing easier lol. Winds were brutal right on our side for about an hour this morning and then as we entered Montana they have eased up and trip is now pleasant again, We are again seeing farms and animals as the land seems more usable here than in S Dakota. Seeing more and more Canadian licence plates as we go so i guess we are at least heading in the right direction. Just heard on radio it went down to 39F last nite yow. Pulled into nice park today with fast moving river and rapids and 3 big trout ponds right out of our window. |
