We had a wonderful time in Washington, DC last weekend attending the Glenn Beck Rally. I think that there were more people there this year than at last year's Tea Party March. It is estimated that 500,000 people were in attendance. The crowd was very peaceful and friendly. There was one little lady sitting next to us that was 81 years old and said that she wanted to attend one rally before she died. She picked a good one! We also met a very nice couple that invited us to park our motor coach in their yard in Louisville, KY on our way to Nashville. We had just met, but it was like we've always known each other. Glenn's message was completely non political. His whole message was on God and how we all must come back to God and trust him to bring healing in our nation. I am looking forward to seeing the changes that will come from that one day of prayer and unity among Americans.
We sadly left my home state of West Virginia today. Our motor coach had been parked there in my brother's yard for one month. Time really flies when you're having fun! We really did have a great time with Rick, Nancy and my mother. Thanks you guys. We look forward to this winter when you come back out to Sun City Festival to visit with us. It was also a real blessing to catch up with some of my many cousins that I haven't seen in years.
We will be arriving in Nashville tomorrow and we look forward to touring that great city. We have made reservations for the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday night. I'll let you know how it was when I check in the next time.
