| Now we are starting the Eastern and south bound portion of this year’s travels, we have two milestone dates that determine what we have time for: 1. October 1st - Albuquerque, NM for the balloon festival. 2. November 15th - Mission, Texas and our 4 month winter layover The trip here was very picturesque traveling on old Hwy 50 through "El Dorado National Forest" and climbing 7,500 feet though Echo Summit and Johnson Pass. Currently we are staying at "Tahoe Valley Campground" and will be here for 3 nights. Nice place lots of trees so can’t use the satellite but they have cable and we have good wifi connection for the internet More later |
