Any Fish?

I get to sleep in again. Maybe I could get used to this. John and Justin are off fishing again. They get back around 9:00. Again, the fishing is good but not the catching.

We pick up the trailer and head east on I68. We do not usually drive interstates but this is an exception. We have to get over the mountains. Even on the interstate, there is a lot of climbing!

We stop for lunch at Penn Alps. We have stopped here before but the artisan shops were not open. Today we have a great lunch and then tour the shops. We have a long talk with a carver whose work we know from the Ward Foundation Carving Championship.

By the time we reach Hagerstown, we decide we have driven far enough. There is a KOA here. It is an older park but on the Conocochegue Creek. If it cools down John may get to fish this evening or tomorrow morning.

Route: I68, I70

Campground: Hagerstown/Antietam KOA
