Finally packed up and ready to go! Had a rummage sale, consigned the last of the furniture stored in the storage unit, rented a smaller one for the car and a few remaining things and repacked and stowed things for the ride in the RV. It rained all day yesterday, so we were later getting out than we had planned. Left DM at noon went to DeSota-pd storage. Went as far as Sioux Falls today. We stayed at the Fairgrounds Campground. Truck running good- Kitties were very good- Ally is howling at something outdoors- she goes from window to window and all I can see is a gopher. The weather is gorgeous after the last 6 wks of humid hot weather. There's a nice breeze and the grounds have just been mowed- so it smells so good. Nice and quiet untilthis morning when a train went by on the tracks about 50 feet behind the RV and scared Ally cat half to death!
