Oh, forgot to say. Mike and Sally had the tread come off one of the trailer tires yesterday. It caused some minor damage to their trailer, basically hurt the fender over the wheels.
Today we drove to Prince George. It is a fairly large city. The call it the capital of the North British Columbia. Once I got here I went to the Freightliner dealer to get the front end aligned and have the tire replaced. The don't do tires so they sent me next door to a Goodyear dealer. Well, I need a Michelin tire, so they sent me to another tire store. I went there and they said they could also do the alignment. So I canceled my appointment at Freightliner. It is going to cost $900 to get a new tire and to have both the front end and the rear axle aligned. Then I made a trip to Costco, and then to the Canadian SuperStore for groceries. Put it all away and it was time for happy hour. Then back to the trailer to fix dinner and then onto updating this journal. First I had to find out why my Firefox on the computer was not working. And here we are at 10:15. Tomorrow I get to sit at the tire place from 12:30 til about 5 pm when they finish. They had to order a tire and it won't even arrive at the store until 4 PM. So unless I take pictures of the tire store (which I might to do just to do something), there won't be any posting of pictures. Tomorrow evening we have a goodbye dinner planned for Mike and Sally who are making a bee-line home tomorrow for a wedding. Then there will be just 3 of us to finish the adventure.
