We took all day to drive the 186 miles of the Cabot Trail which winds and weaves its way around the north part of the island from coast to coast and through the heavily wooded, highland interior. The changing scenery was beautiful and there is so much of the coast which remains completely untouched by mankind – how refreshing. We saw our first wild moose, a female, nonchalantly grazing close to the road. Kind of cross between a horse and a cow!
