From Mt. Rushmore to Bike weekAug 12, 2010

| We made it to South Dakota. Our plans are to visit Wind Cave NM, Jewel Cave NM then head over to Mt.Rushmore. We decided to take a cave tour,we picked Jewel Cave. The cave has crystals that lined the walls and is know for having a wind speeds up to 30 mph. We headed over to Mt.Rushmore and to my surprise the TV crew for Orange County Choppers "Jr vs Sr show was there filming. In fact they parked in front of us, which gave us a chance to talk to them and I even got a picture with Mikey Tutle. The monument was impressive and not the most amazing thing I have ever seen but still glad I went. We headed out of the park behind the tutle's through Keystone,it was kind of funny all the biker's were pointing " I think they thought we were part of the crew". We then headed into Sturgis to check out bike week,unbelievable 800K bikers. Made me wish we had a bike so we could cruise around. Friday we will head to the Badlands National Park before heading towards Wyoming. |
