We got back home about 4:30, ate dinner, and relaxed. We then headed to the rodeo. We did wear our cowboy hats and jeans. The rodeo pre-show had the best comedy clown entertainment which was very funny. The clown and the announcer had a running conversation throughout the whole show. The jokes were funny! The show starts off with the National Anthem and a prayer. Three riders on beautifully decorated horses parade the flag.
We sat on the side where all the horses and bulls came out with the cowboys so we could watch them getting ready. This rodeo happens every night from June 1 to August 31. It is a great show that is fast paced and you never get bored. There is a loudspeaker playing appropriate country tunes between activities. There was some competition of riders for a barrel race. There were young women doing this and children under 12 with the youngest being age 5. The horses were so graceful and beautiful.
