We are having a wonderful time visiting this beautiful area. We visited the Dutchman's Farm and took the tour to see how the cheese is made. We didn't take the theme garden and pond tour the first day, so we went back again. They have trails with beautiful flowers and unusual birds, ducks, geese, and even potbellied pigs. It was a beautiful walk.
We also visited the blueberry farms in the area, we even tasted a few, they were delicious! The Minas Basin area is a lot like the Hopewell Rocks area we visited in New Brunswick, with incredible views.
When we got back to the campsite, we went fishing while the tide was coming back in. We had to move our chairs back from the water every few minutes. We fished for about an hour and a half, then the tide started going back out. Jerry has not caught a single fish in Nova Scotia, I have caught five. :-) More later from Canada.
