Our site, Five Islands Resort RV

Today we left Prince Edward Island and crossed the Confederation Bride into New Brunswick. It was very foggy crossing so the photos are a bit fuzzy. It only took about 10 minutes to cross and the cost was $56.50. You only have to pay one-way from Prince Edward Island, you don't pay when you arrive, you pay when you leave. We really enjoyed our stay on the island.

The Confederation Bridge is a bridge spanning the Abegweit Passage of Northumberland Strait, linking Prince Edward Island with mainland New Brunswick, Canada, making travel throughout the Maritimes easy and convenient. The curved, (8 mile) long bridge is the longest in the world crossing ice-covered water.

We will be staying in Nova Scotia for a few days, on the Bay of Fundy, at the Five Islands RV Resort. Vickie had an awesome birthday today! She crossed three provinces and got to walk on the ocean bottom while the huge (up to 46 feet) tide was out in the bay. Happy Birthday Vickie! I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story.
