Next stop...The Sacramento Delta to see our friends Mike and Pam Allen.

The Allen's own a lot next to ours in the desert and spend the winter months there. In the summer, their "other" residence is a lovely home situated on the delta.

We stayed at an RV resort called RiverPoint Landing which happened to be one exit down from the Allen's. Not only convenient, but was really a lovely place to stay for a few days.

We couldn't have ordered more perfect weather to take to the American River. On Day Two, Mike and Pam picked us up at the RV Park's Marina and treated us to a grand tour and then to a lovely meal of Chicken Marsala and Tortellini expertly prepared by the chef of the house, son Jared.

Many thanks to Mike, Pam and Jared for treating us like royalty and hosting such a fun day!

Early the next morning we hooked up the Jeep for a 6 hour drive to Ashland and for a much anticipated visit with Karsten, Eugene, Bodhi and Drake... More to follow!
