David riding shotgun on the stagecoach

First Nation guy showing us native traditions

Our RV in the corral

We had to get on the road again today - these one-nighters are really tiring. We are staying at the Historic Hat Creek Ranch. After we got there we went on a stagecoach ride. David and the other guys were like little kids riding shotgun on top of the stagecoach. They rode us around the ranch and we stopped at a replica of a First Nation camp. A young man was there to tell us about the way his people ate, processed their food, made clothing, etc. He was very informative. In the evening we all met at a pavilion on the grounds and had root beer floats (provided by our leaders). Then we had a white elephant exchange. Linda and Jan had organized it and it turned out to be a lot of fun.
