It was 9:51 am when we left the West Wind RV Park. It was warm with 69˚ and partly sunny but there were several dark clouds. A couple of miles later we stopped at a Petro Canada where we purchased 151 liters/39.8 gallons at $1.06 Canadian per liter. We began retracing our route once again on Highway 97. About 12 miles out of Chetwynd we saw a dead baby bear on the side of the road. How sad for the mother bear. They usually stay with their young until they are 2 to 3 years old. We came upon 2 different construction sites. At the second one we were at Pine Pass where we had a 15-minute wait. At 108 miles before getting to Prince George we went through a heavy rain. Our 190-mile drive was mostly smooth with no more frost heaves! The mirror we fixed worked well. At 1:56 pm we drove into Sintich RV Park. It was cloudy, windy, and 68˚. We again had a site that was long enough to keep the car hooked to the motorhome. The satellite locked on quickly. The Cable TV had 40 channels! Some were in French. Finally we were at a Park that had 50 amps! It was nice not to have to keep track of the amps we were using when we wanted to use the microwave, air conditioner, etc. I was so excited to be able to use the dryer once again. I had been hanging everything on coat hangars to dry after doing the washing when we had 30 amps. But there was a problem. The dryer wouldn’t dry the towels. We had this problem on our 27-month adventure. After we cleaned out the vent hose it worked fine. We will need to do this once we are home. Rick washed the windshield and mask. It was again buggy. I published 4 entries on our web site. We had a relaxing afternoon and evening.
