| Today we arrived in Racine, Wisconsin. We went through Chicago, staying on the main highway. It took us an entire hour to get from one side to the other. Talk about traffic. We'll be finding a different way back. It was like being on the Long Island Expressway during rush hour. Yikes We're staying at Cliffside Campground which is a town owned campground. This is the first time we had a "Self Check in". Pretty strange. There is a welcome sign with a list of the campsites & what they have, ie. 30 or 50 amp service, water, etc. There are envelopes there that you put you $23.00 per night in & drop it in a locked box. Then you ride around, pick out the space you want & park the rig. We are a short distance from Milwaukee so tomorrow we will be going there. to be continued..... |
