Sunset at Delta Clearwater River

We arose early for us and drove to Fairbanks to do some shopping and site seeing. Saw a cow moose on the way, just north of Birch Lake.

Made a stop at Justine's bead shop again and Marge got some beads for another project. Found the Georgeson Botanical gardens at the U. of Alaska Fairbanks. It included beautiful displays of Alaska wild flowers and giant vegetables. Lunch was at Pita Falafel run by a man from Israel. His Pita Falafel was quite good. Dessert was ice cream at Coldstone Creamery. Marge had the founders Favorite and Ken had Cheesecake Fantasy.

After returning to DJ, Ken topped off some fluids on the MH engine. Afetr supper, he drove out to the Delta Clearwater River to try some fly fishing for Grayling. Beautiful evening, but no fish. Didn't see anyone else catch any either.
