Mike Kingston called and offered to give Ken a tour of the Cold Regions Test Center facilities at Bolio Lake. Well, of course that got a yes. Mike picked him up in his '86 Monte Carlo. Stopped at Golden Eagle Outfitters to pick up an invoice for some flying work they had done for Mike. Met Jim Cummings the owner. He only has a wheeled Super Cub here so no chance for a one day fishing trip. Mike gave Ken a tour at Bolio Lake. These facilities replaced the old Cold Start Lab at Bolio with new offices, photo lab, cold start lab and other items about 1990. At the main Ft. Greely Post, lots of renovations and upgrades have been taking place recently. Carol D. invited us for dinner. It was great! After returning Marge to the MH, Ken went out south of DJ to look at the sunset. It proved to be a great one.
