Cross in the Woods
| To date we’ve traveled 4,374 miles in the motor home and almost 1,000 miles in the car. Yesterday and today we traveled from Mackinaw City, MI to Angola, IN. After leaving Mackinaw City we stopped at the Cross in the Woods in Indian River, MI. What a beautiful worship space - a lovely church and a beautiful outdoor setting for Mass with a large crucifix overlooking the entire area. Other than that we just drove to get to Angola. Last night we had our 2nd worst campsite of the trip, but all things considered we’ve done pretty good in our choices of places to stay. We’re going to church this afternoon and we’re cooking to get ready for Jean’s family tomorrow. |
