We woke up to much cooler weather in Florence, KY vs. Louisville over the last few days. We walked over to IHOP for breakfast then got on the road.
As we headed further north, we took the loop around Cincinnati instead of driving through it this time and then headed east when we got to Columbus. We stopped in a campground in Zanesville for our overnight stop.
It’s sooooo nice to have electricity, water, a sewer connection and most of all it’s nice to have COOLER weather.
We drove into town and went to one of the antique shops and then drove over the Y Bridge, which is pretty interesting in that it is a bridge shaped like a Y. We even went up the road to the lookout point and took some pictures.
After dinner at Olive Garden, we decided to sit outside and read while Duke enjoyed the grass around our campsite. As we were relaxing we realized that the other RV’s coming into the campground had just come from The Rally in Louisville. Guess this was a good stopping point for those who left this morning.
Tomorrow, we’re on to North Lawrence, OH for a week at what should be a fun campground in the Canton, OH area.
And by the way, I still have my tattoo!
