Since we slept in a little, we left Oberlin, OH about 10:30 this morning, heading toward Camp Carlson at Fort Knox in KY. We decided not to stay at a Wal-Mart tonight since it is so hot. We would need to run the generator all night for the AC. It was a long and tiring drive for Gene. We made a stop at the “Flying J” in Jeffersonville, OH for gas and to pick up our “coffee slushies”. On the way, we made 2 rest stops, so we could have lunch and for Gene to rest.
We arrived at Camp Carlson about 6:30 pm. Since, it doesn’t get dark until about 9:00 pm, I decided to do some laundry. It was very hot and humid! Thank goodness for air conditioners!! The Wifi Connection was intermittent and no Verizon Wireless Service. No Direct TV.
Oh, by the way, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MIA!
GOD’S PROMISE FOR TODAY: SALVATION “ And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the LORD, Shall he saved.” ( Joel 2:32)
