Home in Sequoia RV Ranch

We had a 100 mile drive today, so we left around 10:30AM from Bakersfield. About 25 miles down the road the battery warning light came on. Susan searched the truck manual--no description of what it meant. So we kept going while Susan called our Ford Dealer in Boerne, Texas. David Garcia, the service rep who handles our truck said it was the alternator and we needed to get it fixed. Then we told him we were in California! So we next called the RV park--Sequoia RV Ranch. They were GREAT! We got the name and phone number of a Ford Dealer in Exeter, CA that was near the park. We called the dealer and got directions to their place and arrived around 12:30. The service manager was great and by 1:30PM, the problem was the alternator and they had one. It was replaced and by 3:20PM , we were back RVing! What a wonderful experience in a small town! America can do the JOB! We arrived at the RV Park around 4:00PM and Andrea and Michael had dinner for us later that evening.
