| Yesterday we went to Elkhart, IN to the RV Hall of Fame. They had RV's dating back to 1930. Some were really small but great for the times. We drove around the Amish farm land looking at all the houses, barns, flowers, etc. stopping at roadside stands for corn & brown eggs. They still work on the honor system. The price is on a sign, you take what you want & deposit the money in a locked box. We also went to the town of Nappanee to Amish Acres and had a typical Amish dinner. We ate so much that we couldn't do anything else but come home & take a nap. Today we are taking a down day. Swimming, reading, & straightening up a little. To be continued...... |
