Original 1861 church

This morning I visited the beautiful modern St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. It looks very different and has a very different atmosphere than other Catholic churches that I have visited. It lacks all the typical statues because the priest does not want the people to concentrate on them. While I was there, the organ was being turned. It has a beautiful tone. When the organist tested it by playing a hymn, I got cold chills!
