We spent 8 days at the Evergreen RV Resort in Dundee, OH. This is the same campground that we stayed at last summer on our way through Ohio. If you want to check our entries for May 28th through June 5th last year you will get a pretty good idea of what we did this last week too. The campground was as nice as we remembered it and we really enjoyed our time there again. We did a lot of the same things that we did last year in this area and added a few more fun places to our memories. We went to flea markets, craft markets, farm markets, quilt stores cheese stores, and antique malls and also ate at a couple really good Amish restaurants, The Amish Door in Wilmot and Boyd & Wurthman in downtown Berlin. The farmlands in this area of Ohio are beautiful and flowers are in bloom around most of the Amish homes and in all of the downtown areas.

We had a great week except for one thing, it was HOT……..I hate to keep complaining about this but it was unusually HOT the entire week, it rained once……but that didn’t help at all. It was another “official” heat wave. It was so HOT that we actually used the indoor pool and hot tub at the RV Park a few times.

Yesterday we left Ohio and moved on to our next stop, the Gaslight Campground in Emlenton, PA for a couple days. Gaslight is a really nice well cared for campground right down the road from the Allegheny River recreation area. There are a lot of seasonal sites here and the owners of the park are really friendly. It was HOT here yesterday but today it is finally a little bit cooler, it might only get to 80 today.
